Learning Disabilities Association of Florida (LDAFL)
LDA is an organization of parents and professionals working to help students with disabilities succeed with a focus on prevention, early and effective intervention and a successful transition to adult life. Our goals are to insure that students with learning disabilities are well represented in the State of Florida accountability system and school choice initiatives. Our focus will be on helping to develop a system that helps our students succeed, gets their required funding and aligns the state, district, school and IEP Goals. To initiate a Healthy Children’s Project that helps the next generation to be born healthy and ready to succeed. To build a larger and more effective Learning Disabilities Association of Florida by serving both existing, prospective members and the community with value added programs from birth, through the school years and transition to college and careers.
